Udahamulla East Sanasa Society was established on 01st October 1995. Our starting membership was 20 and the starting capital was Rs. 161,380.00. And we are registered with the Sanasa Federation of Sri Lanka. On 02nd July 1997 Udahamulla East Sanasa Society was registered as a Thrift and Credit Cooperative Society in the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and on 24th July 2005 registered with the National Development Trust Fund of the Ministry of Finance and Planning. Presently we are operating with a staff of 11 and our financial assets are over 110 million. Our membership is over 1,500 and the total account holders are over 8,000. We are governed by the cooperative act No 05 of 1972, the Western Province cooperative resolution No 03 of 1998 and the by-laws passed by the Sanasa Bank under the approval of the Cooperative Development Commissioner. We recived the I.S.O. 9001-2000 & the International RVA Certificates for Quality Management. And we We received the Presidential Gold Award for the best SANASA in 2007 |
